Adam Sergent is an award-winning author, film producer, screenwriter, director, and graphic artist. He is the founder and president of the award-winning independent production company, Bad Image Productions, Inc., as well as the writer, director, and producer of the feature films, "The Devil's Instrument" and "Darkness Hunting". He is the co-author and illustrator of the children's picture book, "Ollie & Orville", and he is the author of the award-winning novel, "The Shattered Ones", as well as the author of the Bad Image BLOG - For All Things Independent Filmmaking. He was born and raised in Harlan, Kentucky, USA, to Cheryl Sergent, an elementary school teacher, and Darrell Sergent, a high school teacher. After high school, he moved to Richmond, Kentucky, USA, where he attended Eastern Kentucky University and received two Bachelor of Science degrees and a Master of Science degree before moving to Lexington, Kentucky, USA. He founded Bad Image Productions, Inc. in January 2018 and it is a Kentucky corporation with principal offices located in Richmond, Kentucky, USA. He currently resides in Richmond, Kentucky, USA, with his loving wife, Ashley, their beautiful daughter, Lennox, and their two crazy dogs, Wednesday and Leo.
